I honestly know your group as a whole hit your event out of the ball park this last weekend to make it number " 1" in South Dakota as far as thee rod run event to go to. I always tell people within 100 miles of the Sioux Falls area this is the event they need to go to that is at the end of our season. Once they have attended I hear echoes of what I have been saying. For your Saturday evening meal, moving your tents to the west under the trees with the picnic tables under gave a nice new and enjoyable feel with people not being so crowded together. Also the portable band shell for the dance band across the street from the tents made for a more enjoyable listening and dancing in the street--people could still carry on a conversation and hear each other while listening to the band. Everything worked you guys!!!!!!!!!!! The poker run got little backed up sometimes with only 2 people manning some stops. but no one was in a rush wanting only to enjoy the evening, so really not an issue. My favorite time of the Vintiques event is the evening time, getting pictures of cars returning from the poker run with the sun shining on the sides of the cars through the trees. If it would be ok, I would like to do a watercolor and ink painting of one of my favorite pictures I took of cars returning from the poker run there at your event, mat it and frame it for you guys to raffle off at next year's 2012 rod run with proceeds going to your own favorite charities as you did this year. The show is the best around. The organization in a whole deserves a lot of credit for the time and dedication. Maybe the Sizzlen Summer Nights organizer in Aberdeen should visit this show. I am local but I enjoy the company of the people that are brought into town for this wonderful show. I want to thank all of the people involved in the set up of this show. Thanks Steve
